< Oxalis care tips>
•When to plant : When you see sprout from the bulb, it’s time to plant in soil. Otherwise, plant it in September - October
•Watering : Water lightly until it sprout. When it sprouts, Water when soil is completely dry. (Watering from the bottom is recommended to avoid bulbs to move around in soil)
•Lighting : Full/partial shade
•Bloom Season: Autumn / Winter / Spring
•Growing Temperatures: 41- 86°F, plants will begin to withered and begin dormant when average temperature exceeds 86°F (Summer), dies when temperature is lower than 32°F.(Keep plant inside when it’s cold)
•When to Stop Watering: plant start to dormant, temperatures exceed 86°F and plant start to turn yellow. It’s time to collect bulbs! You could either leave in soil until summer ends (Do not water during dormancy) or keep them in paper bag and store in room temperature, avoid sunlight
***Please check for bulb status when receiving them, cracked, sticky liquid, sprouting, and shell fell off are all NORMAL conditions. Sprouting tips falling broken during transportation is normal and will regrow when planted.
